Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Resides in or around Fort Collins, Colorado
- Minimum 3 years experience managing teams
- At least 1 year event management experience
- Valid TIPS Certification
- Advanced restaurant POS system proficiency
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Skilled in handling multiple priorities under pressure
- Experience managing budgets and financial forecasts
- Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Commitment to providing excellent guest service
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years managing teams
- At least 1 year event management experience
- TIPS Certification
- Advanced knowledge and experience with restaurant POS systems
- Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience managing budgets and forecasting revenue
- Strong passion for service and guest experience
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Experience planning and executing events
- Familiarity with social media management and content creation
Job Duties
- Provides supervision to taproom co-workers including monitoring performance and ensuring guest service standards are met
- Ensures appropriate labor, coordinates co-worker breaks, and directs side work during down time
- Present and available during taproom hours, including nights, weekends, and special events
- Identify taproom needs and implement effective changes
- Exceed guest expectations to create emotional bonds reinforcing the brand
- Support taproom teams including operating behind the bar as needed
- Serve and sell alcohol responsibly
- Coordinate taproom decor and cleanliness to ensure proper ambiance
- Maintain a welcoming, exciting, inclusive, educational, and fun guest experience
- Model company culture and live the values of "Always better"
- Fill managerial tasks in the absence of the General Manager
- Manage event inquiries, follow-up tours, proposals, contracts, deposits, and day-of execution
- Drive guest satisfaction and repeat bookings through service excellence
- Ensure timely and appropriate event setup
- Communicate event details to taproom team and document in calendar
- Maintain seamless guest communication via phone, email, and meetings
- Lead event execution from setup through closing
- Communicate scheduling needs with General Manager
- Coordinate with external vendors and supportive departments prior to and during events
- Ideate and execute ongoing initiatives and taproom events
- Maintain post-event logs documenting incidents and inventory
- Manage online reviews and maintain high ratings
- Train and coach all direct reports and associates
- Attend weekly food and beverage meetings
- Collaborate with General Manager and Charitable outreach coordinator
- Oversee social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Wedding Wire, and The Knot
- Create, curate, and manage published social media content
- Stay updated with social media trends and technologies
- Develop posting schedules highlighting stories and posts
- Engage with social media audience and respond to questions
- Maintain bios with links driving event ticket sales
- Align initiatives with General Manager and Director of Taproom Operations
- Build and manage budgets with General Manager and Director of Taproom Operations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase room rental revenue
- Maintain margin and budget goals
- Address structural barriers and promote equity among co-workers
- Cultivate an inclusive environment for all co-workers and community
- Align plans and operations with inclusive and equitable practices
