Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of prior experience as a dining host
- Availability to work part-time shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Customer-focused attitude

- Prior experience in restaurant guest relations

Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously as they enter the restaurant
- Manage reservations and maintain an accurate count using the reservation book
- Communicate with restaurant reservations regarding special orders and requests, and relay guest needs to management and the kitchen
- Maintain knowledge of daily activities, table setups, and restaurant hours, ensuring menus are current and in good condition
- Frequently check on guests waiting to be seated, assuring them that their tables are being prepared
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas, shutting down the podium and forwarding phones to voice-mail at the end of the shift
- Assist food servers, bus persons, and food service runners as needed
