Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of restaurant cooking experience
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Physical stamina to handle kitchen work
  • Basic knife and kitchen equipment skills
  • Part-time availability for 24-30 hours per week

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of restaurant cooking experience in a similar environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of knives and knife skills, standard kitchen equipment and supplies including toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machine and smallwares is preferred
  • Able and willing to work part-time schedule, evenings 24-30 hours per week including weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Passion for culinary excellence and guest service

Job Duties

  • Apply culinary techniques and maintain solid knowledge of food products and menu items
  • Safely use kitchen equipment and restock supplies and food items as needed
  • Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
  • Focus on plate presentation and assist with the execution of service
  • Prepare base sauces, stocks, and soups as required
  • Collaborate as a team to meet guest needs and inquiries
