Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • six or more months industry-related experience
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
  • ability to operate light and heavy equipment safely
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders or stairs
  • ability to work extended periods including outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • ability to perform repetitive motions
  • ability to wear and use personal protective equipment
  • ability to work safely in confined spaces
  • ability to communicate and follow safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • six or more months industry-related experience
  • experience with confined space entry training
  • knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and Environmental Protection Agency waste codes
  • understanding of cleaning chemicals
  • ability to complete computer safety training and on the job training
  • solid communication skills and attention to detail
  • ability to work with little supervision
  • ability to adapt to change
  • strong customer service orientation
  • positive and proactive attitude
  • focus on continuous improvement
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • at least 18 years of age
  • proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English

Job Duties

  • Ensure health and safety by following policies and procedures at all times
  • operate light and heavy equipment including pumps, compressors, boilers, bobcats, and forklifts
  • handle various hand and powered industrial tools including pressure washers
  • notify supervisor immediately of any equipment mechanical failure or issues
  • adhere to and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • wear and properly use personal protective equipment when required
  • assist in field sampling and calibration of meters
  • perform additional duties as assigned
  • report directly to the Tank Wash Manager
