Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- aware of the rules and etiquette of golf
- possess a valid Class "D" driver's license
- possess a valid CPR-AED card or be willing to complete training
- able to stand for long periods
- able to perform minor lifting up to 30 pounds
- able to work in various weather conditions
- ability to communicate effectively with patrons and co-workers
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- willing to comply with all park district policies
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Aware of the rules and etiquette of golf
- Possess good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to make quick, safe decisions in emergency situations
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with safety procedures
- Valid Class "D" driver's license
- Valid CPR-AED certification or willingness to complete park district training
Job Duties
- Guarantee accurate payment for all green and rental fees
- Verify customer registrations by checking receipts
- Monitor and document the condition of rental pull and gas carts
- Inform patrons of all rules and regulations governing the golf course
- Follow all personnel policies of the Niles Park District and the Tam Golf Course
- Document and report policy or procedure irregularities regarding receipts or starting times
- Monitor course flow and communicate with cashier to maintain schedule
- Attend staff meetings as required
- Monitor, report, and correct safety hazards
- Provide quality customer service according to departmental standards
- Confiscate alcoholic drinks and coolers
- Document accidents, incidents, emergencies, and irregularities
- Fill in as Ranger when needed
- Assist at special events
- Perform clubhouse cleaning and maintenance tasks as required
