Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Minimum five years of acute care hospital foodservice management experience
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to manage budgets and financial aspects
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to perform patient visits and support quality service
- Ability to lead a multi-site team effectively
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Nutrition, Technology, Management or related field
- Five or more years of acute care hospital management experience
- Experience in multi-unit foodservice management operations
- Direct foodservice operational management experience including inventory and purchasing knowledge
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Experience with P&L accountability or contract-managed services
- Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at management, client, customer, and associate levels
- Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer programs
- ServSafe Certified
- Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Dietitian a plus
Job Duties
- Ensures client and customer satisfaction with efficient and cost-effective management
- Manages all foodservice-related activities including patient care, retail, cafeteria, and catering services
- Oversees quality improvement, sanitation, and infection control processes
- Visits patients to ensure personalized service during hospital stay
- Leads a team of Directors within the system
- Manages system budget and financial operations
- Performs additional duties as assigned
