Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in switchboard or receptionist role preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- proficient with telephone and paging systems
- ability to follow established policies and procedures
- reliable and punctual
- ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Duties
- Answering switchboard and directing calls
- receive and follow reception schedule instructions from supervisor
- answer telephone and determine nature of call
- direct caller to appropriate individual or department
- receive requests and locate personnel through paging system
- receive inquiries and release information per policies
- maintain current file/listing of residents, emergency contacts, and key personnel
- maintain listing of critical residents and refer calls to nurse supervisor
- perform other related duties as necessary
