Job Requirements
- Texas Class A CDL license for route and swing drivers
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Ability to perform in a physically demanding role on a daily basis and work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to read and understand English
- Ability to perform basic math and write legibly
- Must maintain a current valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in noisy and crowded environments
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent certificate
- Previous distribution business experience preferred
- Prior commercial driving experience
- Good communication skills
- Previous beer spirits or CPG industry experience preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Experience in physically demanding work environments
Job Duties
- Drives assigned Off Premise or On Premise route delivering product to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Completes deliveries to scheduled accounts adhering to Delivery Service Guidelines and all regulations
- Unloads loads and moves product repetitively using appropriate equipment maintaining organized work areas
- Stocks all windows cold boxes coolers hot shelves and displays quickly and efficiently
- Rotates product to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Maintains necessary documentation providing delivery information damaged product returns and inventory control
- Performs pre post trip daily vehicle inspections adhering to driving and safety regulations
- Communicates effectively with sales team and customers providing exceptional service
- Provides guidance and direction to Delivery Assistants ensuring proper product handling
- Collaborates with sales team to support customer relationship building
