Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Stand for long periods of time
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly utilize a tray to assist in delivering food and drink items
- Obtain and update any required certifications
- Knowledge of food and bar menu
- Understanding of host support staff procedures
Job Duties
- Provide friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and hospitable service
- Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately ring in all food and beverage orders
- Stock and replenish stations including polished silverware and glassware
- Assist guests with questions or concerns about the menu including liquor, beer, and wine
- Handle all cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at tables
- Pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
- Communicate questions or issues to management in a timely manner
- Work cooperatively with coworkers and management
- Perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and sanitizing workstations
- Set up next shift for success
- Practice proper sanitation and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service
- Participate in continuing education courses
- Maintain complete knowledge of the menu and host support procedures
- Maintain tables and assist guests throughout their visit to ensure quality dining experience
