Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Strong phone etiquette
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Duties
- Greet and seat all guests in a hospitable, friendly, and timely manner
- Handle all incoming telephone calls before the third ring, using professional verbiage and with a positive and uplifting tone
- Maintain a clean entrance area, hostess stand, and women's restroom
- Manage reservations system, including seating within reservation times, quoting proper wait times when necessary, and not over or under-booking the restaurant
- Escort guests to the proper assigned table while engaging in light conversation and providing the perfect hospitable start to their dining experience
- Interact with all guests and co-workers in a professional, hospitable, and friendly manner
- Assist in bussing tables when there is a wait or immediate need
- Calculate, note, and quote accurate wait times
- Offer the bar for cocktails and appetizers when the wait is extensive
- Keep floors, entry, and aisle ways clean and free of debris
- Provide guests with directions around the restaurant
- Genuinely thank all departing guests for dining and welcome incoming guests
- Be familiar with all restaurant information to answer guest questions and address concerns
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately while communicating important information to managers
- Provide information on daily menu additions, musical performances, and cocktail or wine features.
