  • Ability to greet and seat guests hospitably and timely
  • skilled in managing telephone calls professionally
  • capable of maintaining cleanliness in entrance and restroom areas
  • experienced with reservation systems management
  • able to converse engagingly with guests
  • reliable punctuality for scheduled shifts
  • proper uniform adherence including dress, makeup, hair, and jewelry
  • ability to handle guest wait time calculations and alternatives
  • willingness to assist in bussing tables
  • possess knowledge of restaurant hours, menu, price range, contact information, and special features
  • compliant with employment eligibility verification programs

Job Qualifications

  • Fun, energetic and professional attitude at all times while working
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • prior restaurant experience is desired but not required

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat all guests in a hospitable, friendly, and timely manner
  • handle all incoming telephone calls before the third ring using professional verbiage and a positive tone
  • maintain a clean entrance area, hostess stand, and women's restroom
  • manage reservations system including seating logistics within reservation times and quoting accurate wait times
  • escort guests to assigned tables engaging in light conversation to provide a hospitable start to their dining experience
  • interact with guests and co-workers professionally and hospitably
  • assist in bussing tables when needed during high wait times or urgent table availability
