Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- prior restaurant experience is desired, but not required
- ability to greet and seat guests in a timely and hospitable manner
- effective communication skills to handle telephone calls professionally before the third ring
- maintain cleanliness of entrance, hostess stand, and restrooms
- manage reservations system accurately including seating within reservation times and quoting wait times
- readiness to assist in bussing tables when needed
- maintain a professional appearance including proper uniform, dress, make-up, hair, and jewelry
- punctuality and reliability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts

Job Duties
- Greet and seat all guests in a hospitable, friendly, and timely manner
- handle all incoming telephone calls before the third ring using professional verbiage and with a positive and uplifting tone
- maintain a clean entrance area, hostess stand, and women’s restroom
- manage reservations system including seating within reservation times, quoting proper wait names when necessary, and not over or under-booking the restaurant
- escort guests to the proper assigned table while engaging in light conversation and providing the perfect hospitable start to their dining experience
- interact with all guests and co-workers in a professional, hospitable, and friendly manner
- assist in bussing tables when we are on a wait or in need of a table immediately
