Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Fun and energetic attitude
- Prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
- Must arrive on time and be ready to work
- Proper uniform adherence including dress, makeup, hair, and jewelry
- Must be familiar with the restaurant's operations including hours, menu items, pricing, and location
- Be able to handle telephone communication professionally and efficiently
- Must be able to provide guests with accurate wait times and alternative options when needed
- Basic knowledge of the restaurant's daily specials and events
Job Qualifications

- Prior restaurant experience is desired, but not required
Job Duties
- Greet and seat all guests in a hospitable, friendly, and timely manner
- Handle all incoming telephone calls, before the third ring, using professional verbiage and with a positive and uplifting tone
- Maintain a clean entrance area, hostess stand, and women's restroom
- Manage reservations system, including seating within reservation times, quoting proper wait times when necessary, and not over or under-booking the restaurant
- Escort guests to the proper assigned table while engaging in light conversation and providing the perfect hospitable start to their dining experience
- Interact with all guests and co-workers in a professional, hospitable, and friendly manner
- Assist in bussing tables when needed
- Provide guests with information about daily menu additions, musical performances, and cocktail or wine features
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department
- Ensure the restaurant floors, entry, and aisle ways are clean and free of debris
- Genuinely thank all departing guests for dining with us and welcome all arriving guests
