Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

- Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required
- Availability to work flexible schedules
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the host area
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to assist with bussing tables and guest directions when necessary

Job Duties
- Greet and seat all guests in a hospitable, friendly, and timely manner
- Handle all incoming telephone calls before the third ring using professional verbiage and a positive tone
- Maintain a clean entrance area, hostess stand, and women’s restroom
- Manage reservations system, including seating within reservation times and quoting proper wait times
- Escort guests to the assigned table while engaging in light conversation
- Interact professionally and hospitably with guests and co-workers
- Calculate and quote accurate wait times and offer bar options during extensive waits
