Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read English
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Proper use of knife and other required equipment
Ability to properly utilize a tray for delivering food and drinks
Maintain current Food Handler's Certification and TABC certification
Practice proper sanitation procedures
Follow regulations regarding alcohol sales and service

Job Duties

Provide friendly efficient knowledgeable and helpful service of food and beverage following established quality and time standards
Maintain a high awareness of cleanliness in the restaurant including tables and overall environment
Support servers bartenders and all team members by maintaining tables and delivering correct food and drinks efficiently
Assist in special cleaning projects including repair maintenance
Communicate with guests and coworkers in a positive friendly and hospitable manner
Assemble and disassemble workstation promptly
Maintain cleanliness of station during shift and replenish stock as needed
Maintain adequate levels of ice for drink preparation
Observe all state and federal laws regarding service of food and alcohol including current certifications
Deliver food orders accurately
Execute proper food placement and removal at all tables
Bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
Polish silverware and glassware
Communicate any questions issues or guest concerns to management
Clean and maintain all equipment and utensils necessary for job performance
Report any issues with equipment immediately to supervisor
Work cooperatively with coworkers and management following all safety guidelines
Have complete knowledge of food and bar menu and host support procedures
Assist servers in maintaining tables and guest satisfaction
