Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • able to read, write, and speak English
  • able to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs
  • maintain Food Handler's and TABC certifications
  • properly handle knives and bar equipment
  • demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of drink mixing and preparation
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • availability to work flexible schedules
  • reliable punctuality
  • commitment to teamwork and professional conduct

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
  • wear the proper uniform at all times in work areas
  • maintain cleanliness of the entire bar during shift
  • prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, syrups according to proper procedures
  • assist guests with menu questions, continually improving knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine
  • handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at all tables
  • pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant beyond assigned station
  • communicate questions or issues promptly to management
  • collaborate friendly and enthusiastically with coworkers and management
  • perform opening and closing duties including disassembling, cleaning, and sanitizing workstations
  • set up the team for the next shift
  • practice proper sanitation procedures and comply with alcohol sales and service regulations
  • participate in continuing education courses
  • maintain beverage inventory and restock the service bar before end of shifts
  • assist in washing and restocking glassware
  • maintain records of spills and PR comps
  • clean and maintain all necessary equipment and utensils
  • report equipment issues immediately
  • possess complete knowledge of food and bar menus and prepare drinks according to recipe specifications
