Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior bartending or customer service experience preferred
- able to stand for extended periods
- able to lift at least 50 lbs
- current Food Handler's Certification
- current TABC Certification
- strong communication skills
- knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine
- able to work flexible schedules
- ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be able to read, write, and speak English
- stand for long periods of time and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- properly use a knife and other equipment required for tasks
- maintain current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
- practice proper sanitation procedures and follow alcohol service regulations
Job Duties
- Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
- arrive on time for scheduled shifts ready to work
- wear proper uniform while in work areas and assemble/disassemble bar area according to procedures
- maintain cleanliness of the entire bar during shift
- prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, syrups, etc. according to proper recipes and assist guests with menu questions
- handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at tables
- pre-bus and manicure tables throughout restaurant
- communicate questions or issues to management promptly
- collaborate with coworkers and management in a friendly manner
- perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and sanitizing workstations
- set up team for next shift success
- practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sales and service
- participate in continuing education courses
- maintain beverage inventory at proper temperatures and restock service bar before end of shift
- assist in washing and restocking glassware
- maintain records of spills and comps
- clean and maintain equipment and utensils
- report equipment issues immediately
- have complete knowledge of food and bar menu and prepare drinks according to recipes
