Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid Food Handler's Certification
  • current TABC Certification
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • effective communication skills in English
  • knowledge of sanitation and alcohol service regulations
  • punctuality and reliable attendance
  • ability to follow proper uniform and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • properly use a knife and other equipment
  • maintain current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
  • practice proper sanitation procedures and follow alcohol sale and service regulations

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
  • properly wear the uniform and maintain proper bar assembly and disassembly procedures
  • maintain cleanliness of the entire bar during shift
  • prepare drinks, garnishes, mixers, and syrups according to proper recipe procedures
  • assist guests with menu questions and continue studying liquor, beer, and wine knowledge
  • handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at tables
  • pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
  • communicate questions or issues promptly to management
  • work collaboratively and enthusiastically with coworkers and management
  • perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and sanitizing workstations
  • set up the next shift for success
  • practice proper sanitation procedures and follow alcohol sales and service regulations
  • participate in continuing education courses
  • maintain beverage inventory and restock service bar
  • assist in washing and restocking glassware
  • maintain records of spills and PR comps
  • clean and maintain all necessary equipment and utensils
  • report equipment issues immediately
  • have complete knowledge of the food and bar menu and drink recipes
