Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • able to read, write, and speak English
  • must stand for long periods and lift minimum of 50 lbs
  • able to use knife and other equipment required for tasks
  • maintain current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
  • follow proper sanitation procedures and alcohol service regulations

  • skillful in using knives and other necessary equipment
  • current Food Handler's Certification
  • current TABC Certification
  • knowledge of proper sanitation procedures and alcohol sale and service regulations

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
  • ensure proper uniform is always worn and assemble/disassemble bar area according to procedures
  • maintain cleanliness of the entire bar during shifts
  • prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, syrups according to recipe procedures
  • assist guests with menu questions and continually expand knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine
  • handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at tables
  • pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
  • communicate questions or issues promptly to management
  • collaborate with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and sanitizing workstations
  • set up the next shift for success
  • follow proper sanitation and alcohol service regulations
  • participate in continuing education courses
  • maintain beverage inventory and restock bar supplies before shift end
  • assist with washing and restocking glassware
  • maintain records of spills and complimentary items
  • clean and maintain all equipment and utensils
  • report equipment issues immediately
  • possess complete knowledge of the food and bar menu and mixing procedures as per recipes
