Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • proper use of knives and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
  • current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
  • practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
  • properly wear the uniform and assemble/disassemble the bar area according to procedures
  • maintain cleanliness of the entire bar during shifts
  • prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, syrups according to proper recipes, assist guests with menu questions, and further knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine
  • handle all cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at all tables
  • pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
  • communicate questions or issues promptly to management
  • work cooperatively with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing workstations
  • set up the next shift for success
  • practice proper sanitation procedures and follow alcohol regulations
  • participate in continuing education courses
  • maintain beverage inventory and restock the service bar before shifts end
  • assist in washing and restocking glassware
  • maintain records of spills and PR comps
  • clean and maintain all necessary equipment and utensils
  • report equipment issues immediately
  • have complete knowledge of the food and bar menu and mix drinks as per established recipes
