Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • stand for long periods and able to lift minimum 50 lbs
  • properly use knives and necessary equipment
  • maintain current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
  • practice proper sanitation procedures and adhere to alcohol sale regulations

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
  • properly wear uniform and assemble/disassemble bar area according to procedures
  • maintain cleanliness of the entire bar during shift
  • prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, syrups according to recipe
  • assist guests with menu questions and further knowledge about liquor, beer, and wine
  • handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at tables
  • pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
  • communicate any questions or issues to management promptly
  • work collaboratively with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and sanitizing workstations
  • set up the team for the next shift’s success
  • practice proper sanitation and follow alcohol sale regulations
  • participate in continuing education courses
  • maintain beverage inventory and restock service bar
  • assist in washing and restocking glassware
  • maintain spill and PR comp records
  • clean and maintain equipment and utensils
  • report equipment issues immediately
  • possess complete knowledge of food and bar menu and mixing recipes
