Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs
- effective communication skills in English
- punctuality and reliable attendance
- ability to follow uniform and grooming standards
- knowledge of proper sanitation procedures and alcohol service regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be able to read, write, and speak English
- stand for long periods of time and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute tasks
- maintain current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
- practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service
Job Duties
- Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
- arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
- properly wear the uniform and assemble/disassemble the bar area according to proper procedures
- maintain cleanliness of the entire bar during shift
- prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, syrups, etc. according to proper recipe procedures and assist guests with menu questions
- handle all cash and credit card transactions accurately according to company standards
- execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at all tables
- pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant, not only in your station
- communicate any questions or issues to management promptly
- work cooperatively with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
- perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and sanitizing workstations
- set up the team for the next shift
- practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sales and service
- participate in continuing education courses
- maintain beverage inventory at proper serving temperatures and restock the service bar before the end of each shift
- assist in washing and restocking glassware
- maintain records of all spills and PR comps
- clean and maintain all equipment and utensils necessary for job performance
- report any equipment issues immediately to supervisor
- have complete knowledge of the food and bar menu and mixing/preparing drinks according to The Keeper's bar recipe specifications
