Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year leadership experience in operations, event coordination, guest services, communications, or sustainability
  • Ability to walk, bend, reach, stoop, lift, and carry 50 plus pounds for 90% of show days

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year in a leadership position in operations, event coordination, guest services, communications, or sustainability
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
  • Time management and ability to excel in unstructured environments
  • Passion for driving environmental impact through hands-on and administrative work

Job Duties

  • Participate in pre-season orientation and mid-season meetings with national sustainability team
  • Attend all scheduled one-on-one meetings with Regional Zero Waste Manager providing updates
  • Be onsite during pre-season venue set up to ensure zero waste procedures are in place
  • Drive hiring, training, and onboarding of Zero Waste Supervisors and Coordinators
  • Deploy sustainability communication and lead pre-season venue orientation trainings
  • Provide regular updates to venue staff to share progress and identify improvements
  • Manage teams on show and non-show days ensuring compliance of waste material sorting
  • Design and oversee comprehensive zero waste plans with actionable goals and tracking systems
  • Analyze and improve existing venue infrastructure related to waste flows
  • Build relationships with local partners and waste haulers
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Box for data tracking and reporting
  • Create engaging visual reports shared venue wide
  • Complete post-season venue sustainability survey
