Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Extensive knowledge and skills in making sushi products
- Proven experience in supervising production workflow with cost control and wastage management
- Ability to engage in sushi product research and development
- Understanding of workplace health and safety protocols
- Familiarity with kitchen tools, equipment, and product labels interpretation
- Knowledge of product display, promotion and packaging techniques
- Proficient in English communication
- Proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is a plus
- Basic computer proficiency in MS Office
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Process knowledge and experience in supervising production workflow and controlling cost and wastage
- Ability to deliver sushi product research and development
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety protocols
- Familiar with relevant tools and equipment, able to interpret product labels
- Possess product knowledge, display, promotion and packaging techniques
- Able to communicate in English, proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is advantageous
- Basic computer skills in MS Office
- Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays
Job Duties
- Provide guidance and supervision to Kitchen Production Assistants
- ensure fair distribution of work and ensure proper scheduling is done
- Supervise the sushi production processes
- Provide training to Kitchen Production Assistants and provide feedback on staff performance
- Participate in new product research and development process, encourage innovations
- Manage product food safety and ensure FIFO is strictly practiced within the department
- Familiar with product ordering, its process and execution
- Control product quality, inventory level and wastage
- Produce the correct quantity of assigned products based on orders received
- Responsible for the cleanliness, hygiene, equipment and tools maintenance follow up and workplace safety of the production area
