Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role advantageous but not required
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and handling procedures

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary techniques and technology
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and provide fresh, delicious, and quality sushi and food items according to Kura standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas following food safety regulations
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient and timely food preparation
  • Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced restaurant environment while ensuring attention to detail
  • Participate actively in ongoing learning to improve sushi preparation skills and knowledge
  • Uphold restaurant standards for food presentation and customer satisfaction
  • Assist in inventory management and proper storage of ingredients
