Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age or older
- availability to work full-time or part-time hours
- willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- compliant with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines
- possess valid work authorization in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a restaurant kitchen or food preparation environment is an asset
- knowledge of sushi preparation is a plus but not required
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure
- commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards
- enthusiasm for learning new culinary techniques and willingness to grow within the company
Job Duties
- prepare and provide fresh, tasty, and quality food to guests
- maintain knowledge of food safety standards and ensure restaurant cleanliness
- work effectively as a team player and go above and beyond to support kitchen operations
- demonstrate eagerness and enthusiasm to learn and prepare sushi by Kura standards
- manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as assigned
- adhere to scheduling requirements including availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays
