Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Flexible scheduling and dependable attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen work is an asset
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new food preparation techniques
- Basic knowledge of sushi preparation is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare and provide fresh, tasty, and quality food to guests
- Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness
- Organize workstations and multi-task effectively during shifts
- Learn and prepare sushi following Kura’s specific standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist with inventory and food preparation as needed
- Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations at all times
