Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older
- full-time availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- two or more years' experience as a prep or line cook
- knowledge of food safety and quality assurance
- ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- strong teamwork and leadership capabilities
- willingness to learn and grow in a culinary leadership role

- experience working in a multi-faceted food service facility such as a restaurant, hotel, country club, conference center, casino, or theme park preferred

- ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Job Duties
- assist the sous chef in running the kitchen and managing employees, overseeing the operations in the absence of the sous chef
- follow recipes and proper cooking techniques to ensure products are consistently prepared to showcase high standards and provide guests with unique meals
- educate customers and employees on products, share knowledge to offer complete meal solutions and suggest preparation methods incorporating items from different departments
- manage employee performance by providing resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- ensure compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards
- support the training and mentoring of new kitchen staff
