Job Duties
- Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality service to our members
- Work in the designated sushi station as set by Sushi Chef and Head Chef
- Organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders
- Prepare and deliver the execution of food dishes within recommended time frames to meet members expectations
- Operate kitchen equipment including rice cooker, tempura fryer pan, ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers
- Produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at the assigned work area
- Prepare and cook food items by recipe and specification
- Prepare ingredients including butchering, portioning, chopping and storing food
- Set-up the sushi station with designated mise en place with appropriate portions
- Check supplies and prep lists ensuring items are prepped timely
- Replenish service lines and restock workstation for next shift
- Store all products properly
- Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and report incidents
- Serve food in proper portions on correct serving vessels and plates
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, workstations, tables, tools, knives and equipment
- Maintain correct portion size and quality to club standards
- Minimize waste to maintain forecasted food cost
- Review work status and follow-up with Sushi Chef before leaving
- Assist in training and development of new cooks
- Assist other team members or perform other duties as assigned
