Job Duties

  • Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality service to our members
  • Work in the designated sushi station as set by Sushi Chef and Head Chef
  • Organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders
  • Prepare and deliver the execution of food dishes within recommended time frames to meet members expectations
  • Operate kitchen equipment including rice cooker, tempura fryer pan, ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers
  • Produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at the assigned work area
  • Prepare and cook food items by recipe and specification
  • Prepare ingredients including butchering, portioning, chopping and storing food
  • Set-up the sushi station with designated mise en place with appropriate portions
  • Check supplies and prep lists ensuring items are prepped timely
  • Replenish service lines and restock workstation for next shift
  • Store all products properly
  • Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and report incidents
  • Serve food in proper portions on correct serving vessels and plates
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, workstations, tables, tools, knives and equipment
  • Maintain correct portion size and quality to club standards
  • Minimize waste to maintain forecasted food cost
  • Review work status and follow-up with Sushi Chef before leaving
  • Assist in training and development of new cooks
  • Assist other team members or perform other duties as assigned
