Job Requirements

  • previous sushi experience required
  • ability to work full time Monday through Friday
  • willing to comply with company policies and safety standards including use of protective gloves and shoes
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and safe food storage
  • able to perform job duties safely and efficiently
  • willing to attend safety and in-service meetings

Job Qualifications

  • previous sushi experience
  • ability to prepare food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards
  • knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices
  • ability to work full time Monday through Friday with varying hours
  • good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required
  • assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required
  • performs other duties as assigned
