Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a sushi cook or sushi chef in a high-volume restaurant environment or sushi bar
- Proficiency in sushi preparation techniques, including knife skills, seafood handling, and sushi rolling
- Knowledge of different types of fish, seafood, and sushi ingredients, as well as sushi terminology and presentation styles
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
- A genuine love for culinary experiences and a passion for Japanese cuisine

Job Duties
- Prepare sushi and sashimi dishes according to established recipes and plating standards
- handle and portion seafood, including slicing, filleting, and cutting fish for sushi and sashimi
- ensure the freshness, quality, and proper storage of all seafood and ingredients used in sushi preparation
- follow recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in sushi preparation
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, including equipment, tools, and work surfaces
