Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Japanese cuisine or sushi preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Physical capability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Qualifications

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 2+ years of previous line cook experience preferred, especially in sushi or Japanese cuisine
- Proficiency in basic and intermediate cooking techniques

- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate weight as required in a kitchen setting
Job Duties
- Prepare and present high-quality sushi dishes including rolls, sashimi, and nigiri in accordance with restaurant standards
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepped efficiently to meet service demands
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation following all food safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and seasonal specials
- Provide outstanding customer service, accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving supplies as needed
