Job Requirements

  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • At least 2 years of kitchen experience
  • Current ServSafe Food Handler certification or ability to obtain
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
  • Reliability, punctuality, and consistency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of kitchen experience
  • Experience in fine dining or high-standard kitchens preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • High personal and professional standards
  • Ability to work clean, organized, and efficiently
  • Current ServSafe Food Handler certification or ability to obtain before starting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
  • Experience in Michelin-level or similar kitchens a plus
  • Strong sushi fundamentals or Japanese cuisine background a plus
  • Interest in mentoring or supporting teammates a plus
  • Familiarity with hospitality-driven service cadence a plus

Job Duties

  • Executing recipes and techniques accurately
  • Keeping a clean, organized station
  • Learning and upholding SBS standards and systems
  • Supporting daily service with focus and professionalism
  • Working clean, orderly prep and maintaining quality
  • Sushi rice production, sauces, fish storage, and rotation
  • Bringing a positive attitude and respect for hospitality
