Job Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- At least 2 years of kitchen experience
- Current ServSafe Food Handler certification or ability to obtain
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
- Reliability, punctuality, and consistency
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of kitchen experience
- Experience in fine dining or high-standard kitchens preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- High personal and professional standards
- Ability to work clean, organized, and efficiently
- Current ServSafe Food Handler certification or ability to obtain before starting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow systems
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
- Experience in Michelin-level or similar kitchens a plus
- Strong sushi fundamentals or Japanese cuisine background a plus
- Interest in mentoring or supporting teammates a plus
- Familiarity with hospitality-driven service cadence a plus
Job Duties
- Executing recipes and techniques accurately
- Keeping a clean, organized station
- Learning and upholding SBS standards and systems
- Supporting daily service with focus and professionalism
- Working clean, orderly prep and maintaining quality
- Sushi rice production, sauces, fish storage, and rotation
- Bringing a positive attitude and respect for hospitality
