Job Requirements

  • Two or more years of kitchen experience
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • High personal and professional standards
  • Ability to work clean, organized, and efficiently
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Current ServSafe Food Handler or ability to obtain before starting
  • Reliability, punctuality, and consistency in prep and service
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow systems
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of kitchen experience
  • Experience in fine dining or high-standard kitchens preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • High personal and professional standards
  • Ability to work clean, organized, and efficiently
  • Current ServSafe Food Handler certification or ability to obtain before starting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow systems
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
  • Experience in Michelin-level or similar kitchens is a plus
  • Strong sushi fundamentals or Japanese cuisine background is a plus
  • Time management and station organization skills
  • Curiosity about culinary technique, ingredients, and craft
  • Interest in mentoring or being a supportive teammate
  • Adaptability to structured systems and evolving standards
  • Familiarity with hospitality-driven service cadence
  • Desire to contribute creatively as you grow

Job Duties

  • Executing recipes and techniques accurately
  • Keeping a clean, organized station
  • Learning and upholding SBS standards and systems
  • Supporting daily service with focus and professionalism
  • Working clean, orderly prep and maintaining quality
  • Sushi rice production, sauces, fish storage, and rotation
  • Bringing a positive attitude and respect for hospitality
