- Relevant experience in Japanese-style cooking
- relevant experience working in a sushi restaurant
- ability to perform all duties as determined by manager or chef
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance
- ability to handle fast-paced work environment
- ability to use personal protective equipment properly

Job Duties
- Follow standard preparation and cooking procedures
- follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
- coordinate the delivery of all foods within pre-set time standards
- demonstrate product standards and recipe knowledge daily
- set up, maintain side work, and/or close stations
- prepare and plate station food items according to specifications and time limits
- ensure safety and sanitation standards are maintained
