Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Japanese cuisine or sushi preparation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks in a kitchen environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

- Demonstrated ability to prepare sushi to restaurant standards
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Duties
- Prepare and present high-quality sushi dishes including rolls sashimi and nigiri in accordance with restaurant standards
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh properly stored and prepped efficiently to meet service demands
- Maintain a clean organized and sanitary workstation following all food safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and seasonal specials
- Provide outstanding customer service accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving supplies as needed
