Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in Japanese cuisine or sushi preparation
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks in a kitchen environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Japanese cuisine
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare sushi to restaurant standards
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present high-quality sushi dishes including rolls sashimi and nigiri in accordance with restaurant standards
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh properly stored and prepped efficiently to meet service demands
  • Maintain a clean organized and sanitary workstation following all food safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and seasonal specials
  • Provide outstanding customer service accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving supplies as needed
