Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a sushi cook or in a similar role
- Availability to work full-time
- Ability to adhere to dress code and uniform standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain quality standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in sushi preparation
- Familiarity with Omakase style dining
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and company standards
- Positive and helpful attitude in a team environment
- Knowledge of sushi rice production and soy sauce preparation
- Experience maintaining kitchen hygiene and organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dining environment
Job Duties
- Execute recipes set forth by the CDC or Sous Chef
- Maintain and follow all systems within the kitchen
- Follow detailed recipes and company standards
- Participate in service daily including shift line ups, new menu roll outs, and evolving service and food standards
- Demonstrate familiarity of Omakase style dining
- Report to each shift on time and prepared to work in proper uniform
- Maintain sushi rice production and forming techniques in line with company standards
- Prepare soy sauce following company methodology
- Provide guest service with an attitude of hospitality
- Ensure proper fish storage and adhere to quality standards
