Job Requirements

3+ years of experience as a sushi cook in a high-volume, upscale dining establishment
positive attitude, a sense of responsibility, and ownership of the position
flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
punctuality and reliability are essential

Job Qualifications

extensive knowledge of sushi preparation, techniques, and ingredients
strong knife skills and ability to work with precision and speed
excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

prepare a variety of sushi dishes including sashimi, nigiri, and maki rolls
ensure all sushi items are prepared with the highest quality ingredients and presented beautifully
maintain a clean and organized sushi station
adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
monitor food stock and place orders as needed
collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless flow of service
assist in developing new menu items and specials
provide exceptional hospitality and engage with guests when necessary
attend food, wine, and team training opportunities
