Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, twisting, lifting and repetitive hand and wrist motion
- Work with hot, cold, and/or hazardous materials and equipment
- Non-slip shoes are required
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a full-service restaurant
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and in a team
- Basic knowledge of sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing and repetitive motions
Job Duties
- Prepare sushi and sashimi dishes with precision and care
- Handle and maintain a variety of fresh seafood and ingredients
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage timely food preparation
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff
- Maintain inventory and assist with stock rotation
