Job Duties
- Assists the manager in meeting sales and profit projections through sushi preparation and adherence to company policies
- works various shifts or days as assigned based on business needs
- ensures sushi is prepared, handled, stocked, rotated, and merchandised for best results
- safely operates department equipment including knives and sushi appliances
- maintains proper knife grip to cut fish and seafood to specification
- withstands working environments around 40°F
- meets productivity standards
- uses in-store computer and scanning equipment
- weighs, prices, labels, organizes, and rotates sushi products per company standards
- assists customers with special requests and questions
- supports promotional activities within the store and department
- maintains good communication with management and associates
- performs other tasks as assigned by manager
