Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent experience
- Food safety certification
- Six months or more of similar or related experience
- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to raw fish, flour, dust, noise, temperature extremes and cleaning chemicals
- Employment contingent on successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food safety certification
- Six months or more of similar or related experience
- Ability to follow detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and to address them by name
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out of reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along suggestions
- Answers telephone calls and takes customer orders
- Takes customer orders at the Chinese Express counter
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Reviews orders and food freshness
- Ensures adequate food supply and follows production list
- Prepares, finishes, and replenishes product
- Pulls product from cooler/freezer for preparation
- Checks in and puts away product
- Adheres to company policies and reports to work on time
