Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- food safety certification
- six months or more of related experience
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to perform simple math operations
- physical capability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- availability to report to work on time
- willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along customer suggestions, and enhancing the shopping experience
- answers telephone calls promptly and takes customer orders
- takes customer orders at the Chinese Express counter
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- reviews orders for the day
- understands and practices proper sanitation procedures
- reviews the status and appearance of food for freshness
- ensures an adequate food supply is ready by following a production list
- anticipates daily product needs
- prepares, finishes, and replenishes product
- pulls product from cooler/freezer for preparation
- checks in and puts away product
- removes trash timely
- adheres to company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work on time
- washes dishes as necessary
- orders product and supplies
- prices product
- delivers orders as needed
- assists in other store areas
- performs other job-related duties and special projects as required
