Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sushi chef or sushi cook
  • strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques
  • passion for creativity, flavor balance, and presentation
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
  • food safety certification (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present high-quality sushi, sashimi, and maki rolls
  • ensure all food meets safety and sanitation standards
  • maintain prep levels, freshness, and consistency throughout service
  • collaborate with the culinary team to develop specials and seasonal offerings
  • provide outstanding guest service with speed, accuracy, and artistry
  • maintain a clean, organized workstation
  • assist with inventory and ordering of fish and sushi-related items
