Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high-volume sushi line
  • knowledge of traditional and contemporary sushi preparation techniques
  • ability to engage with guests and provide excellent customer service
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • familiarity with sushi bar equipment and tools
  • commitment to food safety and hygiene standards

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests at the sushi bar
  • take orders and explain dishes to enhance guest experience
  • learn and rotate through various sushi stations
  • collaborate with team members to develop special menu items
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi workstations
  • adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
  • assist in inventory management and restocking supplies
