Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sushi chef or similar role in a restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine
  • Proficient knife skills and ability to handle raw fish safely

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality

Job Duties

  • Prepare sushi dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
  • Ensure the quality and presentation of sushi dishes meet the highest standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
  • Collaborate with Chef to ensure smooth service
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines in food preparation and handling
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new sushi techniques
  • Prep ingredients and dishes to serve for the evening
  • Wash dishes and keep a clean restaurant
