Job Requirements
- Two years' experience as an executive chef in a high-volume Japanese ramen and sushi concept
- culinary arts certification or degree preferred
- knowledge of financial management and budgeting
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems
- ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and events
- strong leadership and communication skills
- compliance with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years' experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume ramen-inspired Japanese concept featuring sushi
- certificate or degree in Culinary Arts and ServSafe preferred but not required
- strong financial and computer skills
- experience with P&Ls and budgeting
- knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and POS systems
- proven leadership and team management skills
Job Duties
- Hire and train kitchen and service teams
- develop and maintain recipes, portion specifications, and standard preparation procedures
- determine purchasing specifications and budgetary allotments
- prepare operational reports and analyze trends
- maintain compliance with company and health department policies and regulations
- manage invoice tracking, labor tracking, food cost management, and inventory control
- lead and motivate team members to achieve high performance
