Job Requirements

  • Previous sushi experience is required
  • able to work full time Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • maintain workstation cleanliness
  • use medium weight cut gloves when handling knives
  • wear oven mitts or gloves when handling hot pans
  • use slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques
  • able to interact professionally with customers
  • legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Previous sushi experience
  • ability to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • strong knife skills
  • excellent customer interaction skills
  • understanding of portion control and presentation
  • ability to work full-time Monday through Friday schedule
  • basic knowledge of ServSafe and OSHA regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present sushi and related food products to customers
  • demonstrate high-level knife and sushi preparation skills
  • store foods in designated areas following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • maintain sanitation of all equipment, supplies, and utensils within work area
  • interact with customers to enhance dining experience and explain menu items accurately
  • manage peak production and service hours effectively
