Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of experience in high-volume food service preferred
- Valid food handlers card
- Ability to work part-time or full-time
- Ability to maintain clean and sanitary work conditions
- Strong physical ability to maneuver in restaurant environment
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- One to two years culinary experience or culinary education preferred
- Valid Food Handlers card required
- Experience working in high-volume and guest-facing food service preferred
- Knowledge of proper food and drink handling and storage
- Ability to distinguish different tastes and flavors
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to sustainability practices
Job Duties
- Follow company policies and state food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain clean and organized workstations by practicing safe and sanitary food handling
- Continue education surrounding Japanese cuisine and beverages
- Prepare sushi and related dishes at roll case, front case, and wheel stations
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure consistent and timely preparation
- Interact with guests to create exceptional omakase experiences
- Uphold a culture of inclusivity and respect in the workplace
