Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One plus years of experience as a sushi chef or line cook
  • Knowledge of Japanese Asian ingredients
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • One plus years of proven experience as sushi chef or line cook in high volume operation
  • Knowledge of Japanese Asian ingredients in sushi preparation
  • Knowledge of proper fish handling and sanitation principles
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be proactive and self-directed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines consistently
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
