Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as sushi chef or line cook
  • Knowledge of Japanese/Asian ingredients and sushi preparation techniques
  • Understanding of proper fish handling and sanitation principles
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Capacity to work efficiently under pressure
  • Proactive and self-directed work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of proven experience as sushi chef or line cook in high volume operation
  • Knowledge of Japanese/Asian ingredients in sushi preparation
  • Proper fish handling and sanitation principles
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be proactive and self-directed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines consistently
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
